Job Description Supply Chain Controller (Civil Nuclear) Derby Full Time Why Rolls-Royce? Rolls-Royce is offering a unique opportunity for experienced Supply Chain Professional to work within the UK Civil Nuclear Programme. Rolls-Royce together secured contracts to support the development & supply of UDG installations as part of the development of the Hinckley Point C Reactor programme working with EDF and its partners including NNB. This is an exciting programme to work closely with a cross functional team at RR and with our client on a 4-to-5-year contracted programme. The position is primarily based at the RR Derby Site, but due to the nature and locations of the Civil Nuclear Teams & Supply Chain there will be a requirement for some planned travel. Compliance with the planning cycle, to produce a credible plan to meet customer demands: including inventory, logistics and storage considerations. Ensure pre-production activities are undertaken to ensure the system is maintained with robust & credible data that creates suitable supply plans, taking actions to rectify inaccuracies. Work with your supply chain to manage their orderbook/project and make balanced decisions to ensure business priorities are supported to best satisfy customer demands. To carry out and input into required business and operational reviews to understand capability to deliver to demand requirements, to define and manage actions to mitigate risks and issues. Co-ordinate the resolution of issues with paperwork (route cards, documentation & supplier docs, etc.) where compliance with business, regulatory and export and manage actions to mitigate risks and issues. Position Qualifications: Educated to degree level or relevant professional qualification. (e.g., APICS) Experience of supply chain planning & control is essential. Understanding and experience of managing load / capacity. Demonstrated ability to manage deliveries and make balanced business decisions under challenging circumstances. Able to take responsibilities for their own development. Working knowledge of, and experience with MRP and/or ERP systems. Has the ability to influence others.
