The Cloud Engineering team is responsible for managing our cloud infrastructure and developing new solutions/products based on business requirements and new technologies. About the Role We are seeking an enthusiastic Cloud Engineer to join our team, responsible for maintaining and optimizing our AWS cloud infrastructure, developing innovative solutions, and deploying new technologies to support business needs. This role provides an opportunity to work on impactful projects, ensuring the reliability, security, and efficiency of our cloud environment. Responsibilities Troubleshoot and resolve cloud-related issues. Manage and fulfill support requests and incidents, ensuring adherence to SLAs. Administer and deploy AWS infrastructure, including EC2 instances, S3 buckets, load balancers, RDS, TLS certificates, DNS records, Lambda functions, and CloudFormation stacks. Monitor cloud resources for performance, availability, and cost optimization. Develop scripts for monitoring, reporting, and alerting to ensure a robust, redundant, and scalable infrastructure. Ensure compliance with security and data protection policies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve and optimize cloud solutions. Create and maintain documentation for cloud architectures, processes, and procedures. Work closely with development, operations, and security teams to align cloud solutions with business requirements. Requirements Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of experience in Systems Engineering or a related field. Relevant experience in lieu of a degree is acceptable. Required Skills: Proficiency in scripting and automation for deployment, monitoring, and reporting (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Bash). Familiarity with cloud-based DevOps tools, including CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Bamboo, GitHub Actions). Experience with core AWS services: EC2, RDS, Lambda, VPC, S3, CloudWatch. Knowledge of Windows Server administration and integration. Hands-on experience with Linux administration, including networking, storage, and security configurations. Understanding of network fundamentals. Desirable Skills: Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and Ansible. Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). AWS certifications. Familiarity with Azure.
