The job itself

Swinemoor Primary School is seeking an enthusiastic Key Stage 1 Class Teacher to join our friendly and committed team from April 2026, to cover a period of maternity leave.

We are looking for a teacher who will complement our enthusiastic, supportive, and dedicated teaching team. ECTs are welcome to apply.

The ideal candidate will have the potential to become an outstanding classroom practitioner, with high expectations for pupil attainment, progress, and behaviour. They should be committed to helping all children achieve their full potential, regardless of their starting points or individual needs. We are also looking for a strong team player who is keen to contribute to the continued development of our curriculum.
