The Headteacher & Governing Body are seeking to appoint a highly skilled and experienced Teaching Assistant. The person we are looking for understands the importance of developing and nurturing the whole child. The successful candidate would have a minimum of a NVQ 2 Certificate in Teaching and Learning Support or equivalent and/or experience across the EYFS and Primary Phase.

The role will entail providing general support within the indoor and outdoor learning environment and will encompass learning and pastoral support as well as providing one to one support for pupils with high needs as required. Having the confidence to manage and support children with Special Educational Needs and disabilities in a positive and nurturing manner is essential, as is showing the initiative and commitment to adapting to the individual needs of children.
The successful candidate will be able to work as part of a team to provide a stable, calm, caring and supportive learning environment in which pupils can achieve. We require a reliable, resilient and motivated individual with a passion for supporting all pupils to achieve their full personal and academic potential.
You should have excellent interpersonal skills with a commitment to young people, their welfare, education and personal development. You will act as a role model to our pupils.
