Your role as Team Leader
We are looking for an experienced Team Leader to work within one of our busy Cafés on University Park. You will be responsible for the operation, organisation and supervision of a unit, ensuring a high quality and consistent service is provided. Main duties will include preparing and serving a wide range of food and beverages, cash handling and banking, supervising staff and maintaining the care of equipment within the unit. You will also order stock, liaise with suppliers and ensure excellent customer service is provided at all times.
As a Team Leader, you will lead by example, be inclusive, fair, respectful, be resilient and able to adapt to change quickly.
Supervisory experience gained within a similar environment, excellent customer service skills, experience of stock control and proven planning, organisational and administration skills are essential for this role.

The successful candidate for this position will be expected to attend statutory training courses within six months of commencement of employment as well as any refresher training requested by the department throughout your employment. We do have several different options to attend training either during a typical week, Monday to Friday or on a set weekend dates within the year. Further details will be given at the interview. The interviews for these posts are informal and will take no longer than 30 minutes.
