Job Description Technical Assistant to the Director â Services (Submarines) Full Time Derby An excellent career development opportunity for a technically minded and dynamic individual looking to further their breadth of understanding of in-Service activities as Technical Assistant to the Director of Services. The role provides a unique opportunity to support Rob Neale and the wider Services DBU for 12 months whilst gaining an understanding of the full breadth of the Services DBU and how it operates; ranging from finance and commercial, to setting out future direction and strategy. Responsibilities Supporting the Director â Services and Business Manager, with the opportunity to influence, strategic decision making across the DBU. Working closely with the Services 1st line to assist and run projects as requested by the Services Director. Accountable for the weekly Services Board meeting and will be expected to support the running of other Services-level reviews as required whilst in post. Ownership the Services Operating Model (annual review / update required) and associated Terms of Reference (annual review / update required) and promote adherence to these documents from their peers and seniors alike throughout their tenure to support the streamlined running of the Services DBU. Interacting with senior management within both Rolls-Royce Submarines and our Enterprise partners. Travelling to customer sites as appropriate. Why Rolls-Royce?
