Job Description Job Title: Technical Lead â Lifecycle Engineering Working Pattern: Full Time Working Location: Bristol An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Rolls-Royce as a Technical Lead â Lifecycle Engineering within our Mature Program Engineering team. This role is ideal for an experienced people manager with a strong background in Aftermarket Lifecycle Engineering, overseeing a team of approximately 15-20 Lifecycle Engineers. What You Will Be Doing With this exciting opportunity, you will be responsible for: Acting as the prime engineering and programme interface for a specific package of work. Managing safety aspects of all solutions and ensuring compliance with safety policies. Serving as the primary customer technical interface, representing Rolls-Royce for the project. Leading the technical solution delivery, ensuring it aligns with the project scope and policies. Providing programme and technical leadership, ensuring best practices across the engineering lifecycle. Who Weâre Looking For To be successful in this role, you will need: A degree-level qualification in Engineering or a related field. Strong people management experience, ideally leading engineering teams. Project management experience in planning, budget control, and scheduling. Understanding of product change control, including PCB (Product Change Board) and DDRAM (Design Definition Review and Audit Meeting). Experience in Product Lifecycle Management and implementing a systems approach (e.g., Robust Design Lead, Black Belt certification). We are an equal opportunities employer.
