Technical Operator - Packaging

Function: Supply Chain - Production

Location: Manchester Brewery

Contract: Permanent

Shift Pattern: 2 days, 2 nights & 4 off

Salary: starting from £30,881 plus shift allowance of £9,026

Bonus available, including:

What are your responsibilities?

As a Technical Operator in our packaging function, you will:

Be responsible for running high-speed packaging machinery efficiently and effectively. Actively contribute to our Zero Accident Culture by delivering high standards of cleanliness and reliability on our production plant. Deliver FTR (First Time Right) on quality and process. Help drive continuous improvement through our Total Productive Management (TPM) programme.

What does it take?

To best succeed in this role you will need to be a motivated self-starter with a lean mindset and positive attitude.You will need to be committed to teamwork and:

Have qualifications in Maths and English A good understanding of IT systems Be comfortable working in an automated manufacturing environment. While not essential, previous experience in packaging (in an FMCG environment) is highly desirable.
