The role sits within the Group Functions Technology (GFT), Performance, Risk, and Transformation team and is responsible for the assurance of technology resilience across Group Functions Technology. You will be responsible for the business resilience of all Group Functionsâ operational teams (people, finance, corporate affairs, etc), including business processes, people, critical suppliers, properties, and technology. The scope includes the planning and response to major operational incidents and corporate crises, with and without a technology component. The team is agile and whilst this role will be focused on technical and operational resilience, it will also undertake activities in the wider performance, risk, and transformation areas, giving great opportunity for diversity, learning, and progression. How youâll help us make health happen: Ensuring Technology and Business Resilience is in place and meets the Bupa Enterprise Standards for all GFT provided services and for all Group functions. Working with the GFT architecture team, information security team, and the wider risk teams Supporting the identification of risks and the preparation of risk mitigation plans, escalating risks where appropriate Contributing to the maintenance of the Bupa Enterprise Standards in relation to technology and business resilience, ensuring they meet industry best practices and are fit for purpose for all GFT provided service types and for all Group functions operational activities. Monitoring Group functions regulatory compliance in relation to Operational Resilience and provide updates to senior management and to the PRA, as requested by the Compliance & Regulatory Affairs teams. Managing the governance of Operational Resilience for Group functions and report management information to the Operational Resilience Local Policy Sponsor for Group functions What you'll bring: Significant experience in technical resilience, ideally including Cloud Services and /or experience in operational resilience, including business continuity, and crisis management Good analytical skills, and able to draw concise conclusions from large amounts of unstructured data Experience in business partnering, developing strong working relationships with people at all levels of the organisation, including executives Comfortably working independently in a stand-alone role Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and experience of communicating with impact Strong understanding of regulatory requirements relevant to Operational Resilience in the UK Benefits Our benefits are designed to make health happen for our people.
