Train Presentation Operative (Train Cleaner)

We have an exciting opportunity to join #TeamEMR as a Train Presentation Operative at London St Pancras.

   

The London Train Presentation team, work with other members of the of the Fleet Delivery team to ready the fleet for service.

Some of the responsibilities are:

Clean East Midlands Railway fleet carriages to a high standardWork to high standards within a tight deadlineWork as part of a team to ensure carriages are ready for service on time each dayEnsure excellent customer service is maintained through quality of work and customer facing opportunitiesPerform water tanking on the trainWork to health and safety standards in all aspects of their workOn occasion, work from alternative East Midlands Railway locations if requiredOn occasion, travel on trains across our network to assist with cleaning duties

You will be a motivated individual with the desire to contribute to a customer service focused environment through your work. You will display knowledge of health and safety requirements including COSHH, and display a positive attitude towards cleaning standards. You will have experience of cleaning duties & will have ideally previously worked within a pressurised and demanding environment.

Please note this post requires shift working ranging from 0600-2300, 7 days a week. You are also required to be able to get to London St Pancras station within 60 minutes' travelling time by other means of transportation other than train as some shifts would require you to report for work before the first train service or end work after the last train service.
