Trainee School Bus Driver - Lincoln

Salary Pay rate during training of £12:21 per hour (training will last 6 – 8 weeks). On completion of training, hourly pay rate increases to £13.35 rising to £15.00 per hour after 6 months Your new journey starts here – no experience needed! We’re looking for friendly, safety-conscious individuals to join us as School Bus Drivers on a new school contract based at our Lincoln Depot. You’ll be responsible for transporting local children to and from school each day – a vital role that helps keep our communities connected. No previous bus driving experience? No problem! We’ll provide fully paid training to help you gain your PCV licence, and we’ll support you every step of the way. What we offer: £13.35 per hour, after training raising to £15.00 per hour after 6 months Term-time only working – all school holidays off Split shifts, Monday to Friday (mornings and afternoons) Guaranteed 20–30 hours per week (depending on contract) Rolled up pay – so you’re paid consistently throughout the year Free travel on all Stagecoach buses across the East Midlands Opportunities for overtime Career development and progression pathways A permanent, stable role in a respected and growing company What will you be doing? Driving our school buses safely and confidently on local routes Creating a welcoming and supportive environment for pupils Delivering excellent customer service to passengers of all ages Being a reliable and friendly presence in your community What do you need to apply? You need to be 18 years old and hold a driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points and had a minimum of 12 months driving experience.
