Learning practically, whilst working day to day alongside our dedicated and highly skilled team, in a supportive learning environment. The equine nursing diploma is level 3 qualification (course length 36 months) it s run predominantly remotely, with contact days every 6 weeks, assessment is based upon assignment, exams and clinical supervisor log. You will receive one to one support and mentoring whilst working in practice with a trained, RCVS registered VN as your clinical coach.
The Equine Referral Hospital has the largest number of accredited specialists of any UK veterinary equine teaching hospital, supported by a team of highly trained equine veterinary nurses, equine technicians and clinicians-in-training, we provide a full range of specialist referral services ranging from advanced diagnostic imaging to emergency surgery and intensive care 24 hours a day 365 days a year.

Ideally the candidate will have had a minimum of one year work experience post GCSE. You will have a passion for working with horses and experience of handling and caring for a variety of equines.
