Team/Role Overview:

The Emerging Commerce Solutions (ECS) team is part of the Partnership and Innovation team in the Services business. The ECS Team has global responsibility and helps explore, discover, and commercialise innovation opportunities. Through collaboration and forward-thinking, we help create new cutting-edge solutions that elevate client experience and drive business growth.

What youll do:

As an Emerging Commerce Solutions Catalyst, your core job is to engage with transaction banking clients and internal stakeholders to identify mutually achievable outcomes, growth opportunities and generate a point-of-view. You then take the outcome of this initial discovery work all the way to execution either via new solution build or aligning existing solutions with client needs.

You will work with clients (global) across a variety of industries and products. You bring a consultant mindset, are curious by nature and have an entrepreneurial viewpoint. You are a strategic professional who stays abreast of advances in your field and apply these to your job. You are commercially focused and able to translate ideas into commercially relevant propositions.

Calls on business leaders to form and deepen relationships and proactively organises, responds to, uncovers future-centric cross-functional collaboration opportunities within Citi Services.Works with subject matter experts to structure innovative and customised programs that meet internal or client needs.Identifies cross-functional innovation opportunities to break organisational siloes and maximise ROI on technology investment.Keeps up with the market trends in the range of topics from AI, ESG, Smart Payments, Commerce etc..Drives Citi innovation brand internally and externally, helps embed innovation mindset within each products strategy.Leads outreach and communication strategy and efforts internally and externally to educate and inform stakeholders on on-going/future programs.Helps execute strategic initiatives launched by cross-functional innovation teams.Networks with fintech partners to identify avenues for new business opportunities and partnerships.

What well need from you:

We are looking for a driven, self-starter to lead strategic initiatives, drive business objectives and manage key stakeholder engagement. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast, un-structured environment, demonstrates leadership through maturity, analytical thinking and a track record of delivery of results. The role offers a breadth of exposure across transaction banking (products and clients), high visibility with senior leadership and an opportunity to make a tangible impact.

Financial industry experience preferred.Ability to identify problem areas and drive constructive solutions.Passion for navigating ambiguity (in a systematic way).Ability to navigate/influence diverse stakeholders with varying agendas.Self-starter/motivated.Advanced Communication skills.Enjoy Global teamwork.Negotiation skills with external parties.
