The UK Corporate and Barclaycard Payments Coverage team works with a spectrum of UK businesses, from those turning over £6.5 million annually to FTSE 350 companies. You'll be involved in offering tailored solutions in payments, lending, trade, risk management, and industry-specific requirements. Our dedicated sector and regional specialists provide deep business insights, ensuring clients receive relevant advice and seamless end-to-end experiences. The Barclaycard Payments Coverage aspect focuses on efficient, reliable, and secure payment methods, empowering clients with detailed reporting and analytics to optimize their processes.

Who You Are: Key Candidate Considerations

  • You must be in your penultimate year of university, pursuing any degree discipline.
  • A keen interest in finance and business is highly valued.
  • We seek individuals who demonstrate resourcefulness, teamwork, enthusiasm, and an entrepreneurial spirit. Extracurricular involvement is a great way to showcase these qualities.
  • Legal Right to Work: Applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK on a full-time basis for the duration of the internship (June 2026 - August 2026). Please note, sponsorship is not available for this internship. If you progress to the Graduate Programme, sponsorship is also not available for the 2027 programme.
  • Location: The role is based in Glasgow. Your base location for any subsequent graduate programme offer will be the same.

As an intern, you will contribute to the UK Corporate Banking division by:
