Salary Up to £895.88 per week We need you!! If you have experience spray painting or hand painting vehicles but you’re thinking “I fancy a change”, “I want more variety” or “I want to work in a team”, then we may just have exactly what you’re looking for! You’ve probably seen some of our 1500 vehicles driving around East London, South East London and Central London transporting our fantastic customers across London. Those customers rely on our services to get them to work, to the high street, to hospitals, to days away and nights out – and as part of our engineering team you’ll be a key part in making sure our vehicles are in tip top condition to do just that. It a really important role within our depot, so we’ll make sure you’re as looked after as our vehicles are! You’ll have the responsibility for painting the bodywork of our fleet of 1500 buses. Our buses include modern double deckers and single deckers as well as some new Electric buses which are now in service with us. Don’t worry if you’ve not worked on these vehicles before (or indeed buses) – we’ll train you on everything you need to know, and you’ll be supported by a great team of fellow Electricians, Mechanics, Technicians, Storespeople, Administrators and Engineering Managers who all pull together to do a brilliant job. And there plenty of variety – repainting buses, coaches and vans – so if your up for the challenge we need you. You don’t have to come from a bus background (but we wouldn’t be put off if you did either!), but ideally you will need to have worked in an engineering field involving large vehicles – truck, haulage, automotive, plant, rail, farm – if it is large and it moves, it good experience for working on buses!
