Our warehouses never stop running; 24 hours a day, our Warehouse Operatives work a range of shifts to make sure our stores receive the right stock, when they need it. We rely on every single employee in the warehouse to roll up their sleeves and get the job done - its your energy that helps get our 2,000 plus products into the hands of our customers.

As a warehouse operative, youll quickly become a dab-hand at the job one youve completed your basic training. Thats because the core tasks remain the same every day of the year. Youll need to take pride in a job well done. The challenge comes from working quickly, supporting the Recycling team, working together to maximise recycling performance and minimise the amount of waste being diverted to landfill.

What you'll do Checking Vehicles into the Recycling AreaProcessing of various types of Food Waste from the sales / store teamProcessing Card / Plastic materials in an efficient mannerLiaise with external contractors to ensure recycling collections are processed in a timely mannerLiaising with the Warehouse to ensure waste is returned and processed in an efficient mannerReport any damaged items to your managerTake responsibility for working through your orders independentlyHelp out in any team tasks, such as cleaning equipment and checking stockWhat you'll need Experience working in a fast-paced environmentThe drive to meet your goals and targetsExcellent attention to detail when working quicklySelf-motivation to work hard and make a real differenceIdeally, previous experience working night shiftsWhat you'll receive 30-35 days annual holiday (pro rata)10% in-store discountEnhanced family leaveContributory pension schemeOngoing trainingPlus more of the perks you deserve

*Max. rate includes £1.50 extra per hour for hours worked in the freezer and £3.50 extra per hour for hours worked between 23.00 - 05.00.
