Westinghouse - Springfields Fuels Ltd, the UKs leading nuclear fuels manufacturing site is looking for a Maintenance Work Week Planner to facilitate the delivery of essential business Maintenance following Company strategy.

To run the ‘T’ week planning process for the Oxide Fuels Business Unit, prepare and build detailed work programmes and control documentation in support of the ‘T’ week and outage planning processes, ensuring that all scheduled and breakdown maintenance, project installation (engineering group and capital schemes) and operational led activities are adequately scheduled for execution at T-0.

As a Work Week Planner you will run the ‘T’ week planning process for the Oxide Fuels Department, prepare and build detailed work programmes and control documentation to support the ‘T’ week and outage planning processes, ensuring that all scheduled and breakdown maintenance, project installation (engineering group and capital schemes) and operational led activities are adequately scheduled for execution at T-0.

Key Responsibilities:

Run the ‘T’ week planning process, ensuring all planning and review meetings are held following the ‘T’ week process requirements

Lead the initial collection and compilation of all work scope for the ‘T’ week and outage planning process

Plan and organisation of externally supplied resource to support scheduled and breakdown maintenance and project execution

Prepare work schedules and programmes

Review performance during ‘T+’ week and identify good practice and areas for improvement

Collect specified Work Management performance data following the required metrics

Ensure compliance with Westinghouse Manufacturing System

Build detailed work programmes based on initial scope lists taking full account of available resources (internal to the engineering group and those provided externally)

Prepare and control ‘T’ week and outage planning process documentation, risk register and work package preparedness information

Provide specified WM performance data in line with the metrics required

Manage Corrective Actions

Qualifications:

Engineering qualification(s) degree/HNC or equivalent experience

Ability to identify issues and decide on required actions

Proficient in use of planning software/tools

Excellent interpersonal skills, resilience and delegation skills

Data driven analysis and problem-solving skills

Competency with computers inc. MS Office & Maximo (preferrable but not essential)

Experience of continuous improvement and critical thinking
