We are one of the largest forces in the country, providing police services to people in Hampshire, Portsmouth, Southampton and the Isle of Wight. We retain a strong community policing method and provide a variety of roles and career paths. We value and invest in the health and well-being of our employees, because we know that only those who are well cared for can provide the best protection for the public.
There are many ways to join our family, and many people who joined as call handlers, volunteers and detainees continue to hold other positions. At least one of our PCSO continues to serve as a fire officer and welcomes people from the broadest community.
