In-House Creative Agency - Senior Conceptual Designer - VP - London

Job Background/Context:

Citis in-house creative agency functions as a dedicated creative partner to our global business,leveragingdeep knowledge of Citi and its clients to develop campaigns and content that consistently drive superior client outcomes.

This dynamic teamis responsible forproducing a full suite of marketing content, encompassing strategic campaign development, exceptional design craft, and agile content production. Located between London and New York, their diverse portfolio includes engaging video, impactful social media content, insightful podcasts, immersive experiential campaigns, and comprehensive marketing collateral.

Job Purpose:

As aSenior Conceptual Designer,youllbe responsible forthe development ofideas frominitialconcept to final completion, working with the design and account management teams to ensure the smooth delivery of all projects.

You will work alongside other members of thecreativeteam providingconcepts fora broad range ofprojectsfrom advertising and thumb-stopping social content through tostoryboardsandbrand experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

With the guidance of the Creative Director,youlldevelop creative concepts across a range of campaigns, channels and touchpoints, including brand, marketing, digital,socialand internal communications.

Translate complex financial information into compelling visual narratives that are accessible,engagingandon-brand.

Collaborate with copywriters, designers,marketersand stakeholders to shape ideas from concept through to execution.

Provide direction toart workersfostering high creative standards across the team.

Ensure all creative outputalignswith brand guidelines, businessobjectivesand regulatory requirements.

Present and articulate creative ideas clearly and confidently to internal stakeholders and senior leadership.

Stay informed on design trends, emergingtechnologiesand best practices, applying relevant insights to elevate creative output.

Manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing creativity with deadlines,feedbackand approvals.

Ensuring that all completed work is thorough,accurateand meets deadlines.

Day-to-day creative decision-making is part of the role (designissues should be escalated to the Creative Director or Studio Head)

Thetimelycommunication of specification and scheduling changes back to the Traffic Manager

Experience/Qualifications:

Experience in a senior conceptual or design roleateither anagency ofin-house creative team.

Proven experience working on integrated campaigns across multiple channels.

Experience within financial services, professionalservicesor other highly regulated industries is highly desirable.

Youllhave a book brimming with strong ideas as well asbeautifullycrafted design.

Youllbe comfortable presenting your ideas to the internal teamand alsoclients.

Youllhave worked in a client-facing role where you built strong client relationships.

Youllbe able to deal with the fast-pace of a busy creative studio, managing to balance your projects and deliver them on-time, on-brandand on-budget.

Track recordof leading creative thinking from concept through execution

A strong portfoliodemonstratingconceptual thinking, creativeleadershipand high-quality design execution

Bachelors degree indesign,advertising,communicationsor a related field (or equivalent experience)

Skills:

Essential

AdobeCreative Cloud, Inc.InDesign, Illustrator, Acrobat & Photoshop.

Strong conceptual thinking with the ability to generate and develop original, strategically sound ideas.

Exceptional visual design skills, including typography, layout,colourand composition.

Strong communicationand presentation skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders.

High levelof attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Ability to balance creativity with commercial, brand and compliance considerations.

Collaborative mindset with the confidence to lead creatively and work effectively within cross-functional teams.

Strong time management andorganisationalskills in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Preferable

Knowledge of Adobe Workfront would be useful

An understanding of AI and how it can help the creative process would be useful
