Job Title: Design Assistant Department: Design Reporting to: Senior Design Director, Accessories Location: Head Office, London Overall Purpose of the Role To actively support with the management of the fast-paced Design department within Jimmy Choo to ensure smooth running of ongoing projects and excellent organisation between other departments and assist the team doing cads and recaps when required. Key Responsibilities and Duties Senior Design Director, Accessories Support: Support with diary management, representing the interest and agenda of the Senior Design Director, Accessories Prepare presentations and other materials in anticipation for all meetings Research and collect images to aid and support the creative process as per the direction of the Senior Design Director, Accessories Create presentations and mood boards, as required. Accessories Design Team Coordination: Support the general running of the Accessories Design Team Set up and organise meeting spaces as required for specific purpose i.e. working lunch/presentations Interpreting the Merchandising and other teams calendars into Outlook, identifying conflicts and sending invitations to the appropriate team members Manage and tracking shipments Manage materials launch and organise materials books Support Designers working on cads and recaps Skills, Experience and Qualification Educated to Degree Level (or equivalent) in Fashion or Design Experience in a similar role Experience working within the luxury fashion industry Excellent skills in Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator and Indesign), Microsoft Word and Microsoft Office. Excellent communication skills in person, via phone and email Languages: English and Italian Characteristics Required Excellent work ethic Excellent organizational skills Team player Self-motivated Great interpersonal skills Interest in fashion and trends, design and current affairs is also required Highly organised with a can-do attitude Excellent communication skills Special Circumstances Travel to Italy required Absolute understanding and acceptance of Jimmy Choo development calendar Will and adaptability to handle additional category requests based on business needs.
