Your Role As an Accounts Payable in Gensler's London office, you will assist and support the Region finance team with financial, clerical and administrative services to ensure efficient, timely and accurate payment of vendors and employees. You are a team player who has strong communication, organisational and accounting skills who is excited to work with a tightly knit team in a collaborative environment. What You Will Do Collate, code and process all accounts payable invoices for Gensler European region Review and check invoices to ensure the commitment of company funds is duly authorised Perform weekly payment runs for suppliers Pay all foreign suppliers through wire transfer using our electronic banking system Control and reconcile the petty cash floats and credit cards Process the European (non-UK) net salary payments in accordance with those countries regulations Assist with the monthly prepayments ad accruals/provision schedules Assist with processing the weekly employee expense claims Accounts Payable Balance Sheet Reconciliations Develop understanding of our accounting software so that you are seen as an expert and a resource to staff Cross-train and work closely with other team members so that we function as a cohesive and high performing team. Assist the team with any ad-hoc projects or analyses Your Qualifications 5+ years of experience managing the full cycle of Accounts Payable Knowledge and understanding of VAT Experience with BACs payments and international wire payments International experience preferred Experience in A/E industry or a professional services firm preferred Proficient using Advanced Excel, Word, E-mail and the Internet Relevant AP certifications a plus Knowledge of Deltek Vision a plus Excellent organisational skills as well as a high attention to detail Ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all levels Must be able to prioritise and meet deadlines Ability to work within a team environment and work independently Analytical, proactive, problem solver This job description reflects the core activities of the role although there will be changes in the emphasis of duties as required from time to time.
