Do you have a passion for engaging staff and students in sport and physical activity? Do you want to gain valuable experience organising and delivering varied activity sessions in a multi sports setting?
The University of Leeds Sport and Physical Activity strategy aims to enable more of the University of Leeds community to benefit from the positive impacts of sport and physical activity. This is through our strategic pillars of health and wellbeing, development and realising potential, sense of belonging and quality and experience.
Contributing to work across all three pillars, we are looking to recruit four part-time activators to support the facilitation and delivery of our UoL Active Campus programme for staff and students.
Our Active Campus programme provides an inclusive and social environment for our staff and students to be active.
The programme offers weekly multi-sport and activity, physical activity and fitness sessions across our various sports facilities on campus. Your assistance will also be needed at other participation events such as campus colour runs or specific campaigns.
You will have a drive and passion to make a difference to the health and wellbeing of others through physical activity. You will be responsible for co-ordinating, facilitating and delivering multi-sport and physical activity sessions for staff and students which will require you to work independently and as part of the wider multi-disciplinary team within Sport and Physical Activity.
