Key Responsibilities and Daily Activities:

Your day-to-day will involve a variety of essential administrative and secretarial tasks, supporting senior stakeholders up to Director level. Key activities include:

  • Managing shared mailboxes and actioning travel and visitor requests.
  • Assisting Directors with diary management and travel arrangements.
  • Organizing and supporting away days and conferences across multiple locations.
  • Preparing vital project information packs and documentation for Engineering teams.
  • Providing general administrative and secretarial support to maintain efficient operations.

What Babcock is Looking For:

Candidates with a strong foundation in administration will thrive in this role. Essential qualifications and experience include:

  • Proven experience in a fast-paced administrative setting.
  • Solid understanding of office procedures and systems.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, effective at all levels.
  • Strong organizational abilities with a talent for prioritizing workloads.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • GCSEs in English and Maths (Grade C or above), or equivalent, or NVQ Level 2 in Business Administration.

To be successful in this role, candidates must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance. Eligibility for this clearance is subject to national security vetting regulations.
