As a member of Academic Services, you'll be at the heart of managing applicant data, maintaining application records, and ensuring the highest standards of data quality. In this role, you'll be responsible for a variety of tasks that keep our admissions process running smoothly. You will monitor data quality, assist with establishing and improving data standards, and provide essential application data to internal stakeholders, and assist with mass communications to support our admissions processes. Your keen eye for detail will ensure that all admissions information is accurate and up-to-date.
A key part of your role will be to support the Deputy Head of Admissions and the Head of Admissions with various administrative duties and projects. These include participating in team meetings, and contributing to business improvement initiatives. To be successful in this role you should have:
The ability to produce statistics and accurate numerical reports and attention to detail and precision in all tasksExcellent standard of written and verbal communicationCompetence in IT skills and experience in working with databases and spreadsheets, and Microsoft Office software.The ability to interpret, apply, and communicate information, regulations and procedures, demonstrating sensitivity and diplomacy when communicating complex or difficult information.Experience of carrying out a range of organisational and administrative duties in a customer-facing environment.You may need to occasionally work at other Brighton campus sites and be flexible to meet the changing demands of the admissions cycle.
Whilst this role is part-time 29.5 hours per week, we welcome applications from candidates seeking to job share, and the role is also eligible for agile working, meaning you could work from home for part of the week, to be arranged with your manager and after your initial training.
