About This Opportunity: We have an exciting opportunity for an Advanced Analytics Analyst to join our Embark Data Engineering Lab. In this role, you will play a key part in developing and maintaining data pipelines within Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and the Microsoft BI Stack, while performing statistical analysis on large datasets to deliver sustainable, high-impact analytics for the business. You will work independently on engineering tasks and collaboratively on analytics projects, supporting a lean team model and ensuring compliance with SLAs and regulatory deadlines. This is a fantastic chance to combine technical expertise with analytical insight to drive data-driven decision-making across the organisation. What youâll be doing: Support the migration from Microsoft BI stack to GCP, contributing to pipeline design and maintenance (BigQuery, Dataflow, Composer). Analyse data using established tools and adapt to new GCP environments. Perform statistical analysis (regression, hypothesis testing, forecasting) to solve business problems and support regulatory reporting, especially Consumer Duty requirements. Communicate technical concepts to stakeholders, translating for non-technical audiences. Identify and resolve data quality issues, proactively reconciling discrepancies. Maintain audit trails and ensure GDPR compliance in data governance. Pursue GCP certification and Python upskilling; coach others as needed. Deliver outcomes within strategic planning and risk management frameworks, meeting tight deadlines.
