London (Hybrid Working) - minimum 6 days per month office based Fixed Term Contract - 12 Months Full Time Grade 4

This newly created Advertising Manager position, operates within the Currys Brand & Advertising team. The role has been created to define and deliver our emerging Categories campaign strategy and delivery process, considering full end-to-end campaign planning. You will be required to establish new media strategy, new creative processes and ways-of-working, all within our existing fast-paced matrix framework, including; creative & media agency briefing, campaign administration & set-up (inc. finance), and post campaign reporting. You will need to work collaboratively with the advertising managers, agency partners, category teams from brief to supply, ensuring we are delivering best in class campaigns. Every time.
Required Skills & Experience:
Demonstrable knowledge or experience in advertising & marketing, either in education or employment – 4+ years of experience in an advertising or marketing role, either client or agency side Demonstrate a strong understanding for what works well in social channels, and how to stop the scroll A confident understanding of our brand & comms personality, and not be afraid to push boundaries Passionate about process, and ability to turn a blank page into a fully-fledged workstream machine, that can produce 50+ videos a year Strong communication skills both written and verbal – being confident, clear and factual are paramount A creative mindset with the ability to influence and challenge – sustaining and executing our brand system is paramount Ability to multitask within a team environment and work under pressure High level of accuracy required to manage multiple campaigns and executions Good understanding of media planning, optimisation and reporting Championing and delivering to strict workstream processes and critical – while also enabling stakeholders to do so Ability to think commercially, yet still maintain a brand and communications north star Proactive and passionate about advertising and the consumer technology industry Good understanding of budget and finance planning – with an eye for detail in accounting
