£25,089 - £27,069 pro rata per annum Permanent, part time 22.5 hours per week Derby The Aquarius drug and alcohol family safeguarding team offer an unique service supporting those affected by a loved ones substance misuse. Whether they are affected by their partner, parent, relation or child, our specialist Affected other service will support them to improve their knowledge around substance misuse, improve their resilience, strengthen their support networks and enhance their coping strategies. This is an unique role which would be suit someone with a good level of understanding of substance misuse and supporting those affected by it. The role will work alongside the wider safeguarding team so knowledge of social care would be advantageous but not essential. In this role, you will be working with a wide range of clients including those whose children are at risk of both sexual and criminal exploitation. You will be responsible to for building relationships with your clients and delivering interventions, you will need to be flexible in your approach and creative to engage the client in a person-centred way. You will be responsible to promoting the service across the City and liaising with the appropriate 3rd party agencies, as well as facilitating group work and training. You will also be responsible to working with other members of the Aquarius safeguarding team to provide a whole family support service.
