Agricultural Placement 2024 (Thriplow, East of England, GB)

KWS UK Ltd. is looking for a talent to join our breeding station for a 15-Month Industrial Placement starting from July 2024 to September 2025.This opportunity will be based in Thriplow near Cambridge.

Your student placement experience will be varied, interesting and intensive, giving you the opportunity to work across a wide range of crops.

You can expect us to:

Help you maximise your opportunity to learn and develop Provide a bespoke, extensive training programme, which may include industry qualifications such as NPTC Pesticide application courses. Train you in the use of a range of agricultural machinery and equipment Give you the opportunity to gain an insight into a successful plant breeding company

You will:

Be studying for an agriculture/plant breeding related degree Have enthusiasm and interest in agriculture, preferably plant breeding Appreciate our brand values (Team Spirit, Closeness and Trust, Vision and Independence) Be committed to learning, the placement and most of all, our success Be a flexible team player Hold a full driving license
