The role As an Aircraft Technician, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. Based at Army Aviation Centre, Middle Wallop, Stockbridge, the candidate will support all aircraft engineering, line and depth maintenance, scheduled servicing and corrective maintenance.

Day-to-day, you’ll assist in the ground movement of aircrafts, as well as:

Carry out Flight-line operations i.e. Preparation of aircraft for daily flying, “see-in” and “see-off”, fuel and oil replenishment. Daily Check A maintenance. Undertake scheduled and corrective maintenance of the LAFT Aircraft fleet. Pre-use checks and Scheduled Maintenance of Company owned Ground Support Equipment. Complete “all” documentation in accordance with current legislation and Company procedure.

This role is full time and based onsite at our Middle Wallop site.

Essential experience of the Aircraft Technician:

Aware of the MOD or Civilian Engineering procedures/documentation Experience of the Aviation industry this can include work through college or university placements.

Qualifications for the Aircraft Technician:

Recognised Aircraft Apprenticeship, Military experience or NVQ level 3 or equivalent

Security Clearance The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Counter Terrorist Check (CTC) and EDBS security clearance for this role.
