The role As a Welding Technician, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. Identifying improvements across the business and implementing them.

Day-to-day, you’ll play a part in the process of helping to make changes and progress within the shipbuilding and structural integration team in Rosyth.

Identify areas of our business that can be improved, such as processes, systems, policies, or procedures, and developing and implementing strategies to enhance them Analyse data to identify trends, monitoring performance metrics, and measuring the impact of changes made to the business Identify and implement strategies to improve Babcock's operational efficiency, productivity, and profitability

This role is a 52 week Fixed Term Contract, 36 hours per week and is based on site at Rosyth.

Essential experience of the Welding Technician

Experience in engineering within the marine/ship building industry Experience of dimensional control and metrology Experience of CAD

Qualifications for the Welding Technician

An engineering degree or equivalent experience

Security Clearance The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
