About You
The Alumni Enterprise Advisor will lead the development of a comprehensive support system for The University of East London’s founder community. This role will shape the ‘post-programme’ support offering, providing strategic guidance, fostering connections, and creating opportunities for sustainable growth. With a focus on building relationships and delivering high-impact support such as workshops, talks, and networking events, the Advisor will oversee the ‘Millionaire Club,’ a dedicated space for founders to collaborate and grow. The role involves working intensively with 30–50 ventures, helping them refine their business strategies, navigate challenges, and accelerate their growth. The Advisor will also immerse themselves in the broader startup ecosystem, building strategic relationships with incubators, accelerators, and industry partners to unlock opportunities like pop-up shops, markets, and partnerships that further the success of alumni founders.
This role is perfect for someone with a passion for entrepreneurship, a strong network, and proven expertise in supporting early-stage businesses.

Your key responsibilities will include:
Founder Support & Business DevelopmentMentor and advise early-stage ventures and freelancers.Guide founders in business development, market validation, and scaling strategies.Deliver insights on fundraising, investment readiness, marketing, and customer growth.2. Community Building & Engagement
Plan and execute events, workshops, and networking sessions.Manage and develop the ‘Millionaire Club’, a dedicated space for founders.Promote and celebrate the successes of our founder community.3. Ecosystem Development & Partnerships
Build relationships with incubators, accelerators, and industry partners.Secure commercial opportunities like pop-up shops and market access for alumni businesses.Represent UEL’s enterprise initiatives in external networks.4. Programme Development & Continuous Improvement
