What the Role Entails:

As a Cashier, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency and accuracy of the cashiering function. Your responsibilities will be central to maintaining financial integrity and supporting the broader team. Key duties include:

  • Managing the transactional flow for receipts and expense bank accounts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Serving as a key point of contact, liaising with care homes and customers to facilitate payment information and home banking processes.
  • Maintaining the integrity and accuracy of the Direct Debit Ledger, a critical component of revenue management.
  • Overseeing the management of the deposit suspense account, ensuring proper reconciliation and resolution.
  • Proactively monitoring cashier mailboxes, diligently maintaining, printing, and reconciling remittances, cash, and banking records.
  • Producing refund cheques for customers accurately within the finance system, ensuring timely and correct disbursement.

To excel in this role, candidates will possess a foundational understanding of administrative processes, ideally within a finance department. We are seeking individuals who are:

  • Experienced in an administrative capacity, with a preference for prior experience within a finance team.
