Assistant Management Accountant

This team will have responsibility for journal processing, review of costs and providing meaningful commentary and understanding to the wider Management Information (MI) team.</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Working closely with the executive team and operational management, to support the business in achieving and exceeding its strategic and financial objectives.</li> <li>Support in providing regular reporting to influence performance and efficient cost control across the business.</li> <li>Preparation of regular reporting and monthly management accounts and supporting analysis to key stakeholders.&nbsp;</li> <li>To assist with statistical data and ensure KPIs are accurately reported</li> <li>To ensure that all balance sheet accounts are reconciled on a monthly basis and that any areas requiring action are dealt with promptly.</li> <li>To assist in the completion of VAT and statutory returns in a timely and accurate manner.</li> <li>Building strong working relationships with the other key members of the Finance and Commercial team to support the business and drive performance</li> <li>Assist in the annual budgeting and forecast processes, linking in with the Commercial Finance and Financial Planning and Analysis teams</li> <li>Providing day-to-day support to the activities of the senior finance team.</li> </ul> <p><strong>What We&#39;re Looking For:</strong></p> <ul> <li>ACCA / CIMA / ACA Studier</li> <li>Previous experience of management accounts preparation including accrual calculations, balance sheet reconciliations and accounting adjustments to tight deadlines</li> <li>Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand a task as well as perform it</li> </ul> <p><strong>Why Join Care UK?</strong></p> <ul> <li>Be part of a dynamic and growing organisation dedicated to providing outstanding care.</li> <li>Collaborate with a diverse and talented team in a supportive and inclusive environment.</li> <li>Enjoy a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.</li> <li>Make a meaningful impact on the lives of residents and contribute to the success of our care homes.</li> </ul> <p>We are committed to recruiting diverse, talented people, who share our passion for helping others.&nbsp; We see the potential in everyone, let us fulfil yours.&nbsp; If you&#39;re ready to take your career to the next level and be a part of something extraordinary, we want to hear from you!</p>
