Key Responsibilities and Career Growth:

As an Assistant Merchandiser, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales performance and ensuring the continuous evolution of NET-A-PORTER's product offering. Your core responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the Merchandising team in achieving seasonal sales and profit targets.
  • Collaborating with the Buying team to curate regionally relevant and customer-centric assortments.
  • Analyzing weekly performance to identify trading opportunities and maximize profitability.
  • Forecasting sales and intake, managing stock flow, and ensuring optimal stock levels.
  • Communicating departmental priorities to ensure cross-functional alignment.
  • Preparing insightful performance reports to guide future strategy.
  • Managing seasonal markdowns strategically to protect margins while remaining competitive.
  • Potentially deputizing for the Merchandiser in key trading and planning meetings, offering valuable exposure to senior decision-making.
  • Coaching and developing junior team members, fostering a supportive learning environment.
