Team/Role Overview

The Trade Distribution team looks after the syndication, distribution and wider risk defeasance activities within Citis world class Trade franchise.

Key responsibilities of the team include:

Developing and structuring defeasance solutions that support the growth of the wider Trade business across a range of products and geographiesSmooth execution of day to day sales to support origination activities and compliance with other metrics such as credit limits, Risk Weighted Asset targets, return metrics etc.Engagement and relationship building with external investors and partnersWork with colleagues in Risk, Legal, Compliance and other departments to establish the frameworks and ensure the activities of the desk operate within Citis robust Risk and Control environmentAppropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

What youll do

Conduct market reads for specific deals and markets and ensure appropriate sharing of market intelligence and reverse origination opportunitiesSupport the end to end execution of trades across asset classes and distribution/defeasance toolsAssist senior colleagues with investor engagement and relationship buildingUnderstand and execute against the Global Product Programs and the Local Country Addenda in country where these structured and complex Trade transactions are occurring

3-5 years relevant experienceCredit Risk and Trade Product experienceCredit Risk Structuring or Credit Risk Management ExperienceTertiary level qualification
