We are seeking to recruit Associate Lecturers to contribute to the development and delivery of Physician Associate education.
The Associate Lecturer role is a flexible position with opportunities to contribute to the course in different ways depending on your skills, passions, and availability. Some Associate Lecturers may contribute to the assessment of OSCEs, whilst others may develop and deliver teaching, or a combination of both. Hours may be available on a regular or ad hoc basis.
We are seeking qualified GMC registered Physician Associates with at least two years of post-qualification clinical experience. You should enjoy working as part of a multidisciplinary team and be enthusiastic about supporting and educating healthcare students.
Depending on the specific duties assigned, you may be involved in:
Contributing to face-to-face teaching sessions across the curriculum, such as clinical skills, simulation, lectures, and/or seminars. NB. The number of hours available might only be a few hours per week. If only an element of this work if offered which does not involve additional preparation and administration a standard hourly rate will apply, currently £19.23 plus £4.23 holiday pay.
