About the role
As the successful role holder, you will collaborate with colleagues in faculties and departments across the University, leading a number of workstreams to identify assurance measures, providing advice and constructive challenge to drive activities that facilitate the identification, mitigation and ongoing monitoring of key risks and areas of regulatory and statutory compliance. You will have high-level influencing skills and be adept at analysing, making recommendations for future developments, and presenting data to a variety of stakeholders and University committees, with the proven ability to draft quality papers and reports.
About you
To succeed in this role, you will be an exceptional communicator and influencer who is confident, articulate and adept at building effective, lasting relationships with senior stakeholder groups. You will be a self-starter, proactively horizon-scanning and leading activities to improve and provide assurance over the University’s compliance with its legal and statutory obligations, including the management of risk.

This is a permanent role. Your working hours will be full time (36.25 hours per week, normally spread over 5 days). You will undertake a combination of on-campus and remote working according to the needs of the role.
