We are seeking a dynamic and experienced B2B Paid Social Partner to lead the overall strategy, best practice, and operational excellence for Paid Social delivery across a Super pod of B2B clients. Job Description: Role Overview: This role will have 2 direct reports and will lead activation teams based primarily in London, with some off-shore team members too. Given the ever-evolving social media and digital landscape, you will be expected to remain abreast of key updates and competitor activities in the B2B space. As we move progressively into this algorithmic era, youâll be expected to make proactive decisions and recommendations on how the brandsâ Paid Social strategies can be developed to meet this pace of change. A data-driven approach and the ability to analyse performance data from across your clients, identifying trends and outputs to further advance learnings and channel approach, are essential. As a Super Pod Lead, you will be given responsibility for your own P&L and must be able to demonstrate an ability to manage a cost base in line with targets and ensure profitability of your Pod.⯠Key Responsibilities:⯠B2B Client Leadershipâ¯â¯ Attendance and active participation in campaign briefing, strategic responses, and reporting sessions for key B2B Paid Social clients.⯠Building and managing relationships with senior stakeholders across key clients, dentsu and partner agencies. Provide a digital focused cross-channel view, supporting in driving integration across media channels, as well as supporting in cross-channel organisation and processes internally. Driving an integrated creative and media approach, pushing the Total Social narrative and working to enable this across key B2B accounts.⯠Super Pod Lead⯠Lead the team to deliver industry-leading Paid Social work which meets the needs and objectives of our clientsâ¯in the B2B landscape. Inspire and support your team to deliver market-leading innovation and cutting edge paid social test using these learnings to develop and evolve our agency best practice⯠Work collaboratively with strategic planning & client teams, as well as cross-channel counterparts to deliver strategic, integrated campaigns which meet client business objectivesâ¯â¯ Identify and implement training and development for your team, whilst mentoring others to line manage and enable team members to reach their potential⯠Act as a thought leader inside, and outside, of the agency⯠Be a senior owner of product, technology and account relationships to ensure we get the most of relevant vendors and partnersâ¯â¯ Lead the acquisition of new business, including leading on pitches and commercial conversations⯠Be accountable for quality of paid social delivery, ensuring adherence to best practices, adoption of new and innovative tests and techniques, and zero error delivery⯠Manage and optimise team structure and resourcing across a portfolio of clients to meet commercial targets/goals, whilst ensuring a consistent standard of servicing and delivery⯠Key Experiences:⯠Significant and demonstrable experience in leading B2B paid social strategy, planning, measurement and activation for top tier clients⯠Successfully built and maintained strong client relationships at a senior level (Director +) with a proven ability to drive mutually beneficial growth⯠Proven experience of successfully leading teams and line management of a large team (8+ people) including training, coaching & mentoring⯠A solid grounding in the broader digital media ecosystem, with a good understanding of how each channel impacts one anotherâ¯â¯ Proven experience of managing a cost base in line with targets, driving active growth across clients to improve cost:income for our business.⯠Proven record of working closely with media owners and a track record of nurturing and building client relationships at a Senior level - Director and above.⯠Proven experience as a paid social lead for new business pitches, showcasing the ability to develop compelling strategies and win new clients.⯠An understanding of media commercials including client fee models and profitability measures⯠Key Skills:⯠At least 7 years of experience in B2B social media marketing, or a broader digital marketing role, including at least 2 years as a Director.⯠A highly organised Client Leader with a proven record of media planning across social platforms â particularly LinkedIn & Meta. Expertise in Advanced Measurement solutions such as Meta Advanced Analytics, Lift Studies, and Conversion/Events APIs.⯠Strong understanding of Experimentation and Testing, with the ability to reconcile business challenges alongside media objectives and KPIs, to identify platform proxies and maximise strategies through a test and learn approach.⯠Strong communication and relationship building skills â you will need to manage very senior stakeholders within the business with professionalism⯠Strategic vision, and the ability to create and execute world-class B2B paid social strategy for your clients which incorporates client business goals and is effective in the context of the wider media planâ¯â¯ Excellent presentation skills â the ideal candidate will be confident presenting to large groups (100+) on a regular basis in community meetings, agency and industry events⯠Creative problem-solving skills â the ability to find effective and practical solutions in the complex and ever-changing infrastructure we operate within⯠People Leadership Skills - Demonstrates empathy and emotional intelligence, effectively resolves conflicts, provides coaching and mentoring, adapts to changing circumstances, delegates tasks and empowers team members, builds a positive team culture, thinks strategically, and communicates effectively.⯠⯠Why Join Us?
