Job Description: Bank Staff Nurse (Surgical Orthopaedics) Cromwell Hospital, London SW5 0TU Paying £28.20ph Role Overview: As a Bank Staff Nurse, you will work on The Surgical and Orthopaedic ward based at the prestigious Cromwell Hospital. Youâll work as part of a wide-ranging MDT who provide a large range of surgical specialties to include orthopaedics, ENT, Plastics, Aesthetics, Abdominal Surgery, Breast Surgery and others. As a Bank Staff Nurse, you will be a caring and compassionate nurse, delivering a high standard of care to our patients. We value all our people and will provide you support and a great place to work. What you'll do: Assess, plan, implement and evaluate individualised quality patient care. Supply and administer medication safely in line with hospital policy. Assess and support patients with their adherence and understanding of their medication. Work with the multi-disciplinary team and collaboratively ensure appropriate care is provided. Respect people rights to privacy, dignity, and confidentiality. Maintain people right to dignity, privacy, and confidentiality whilst under care at The Cromwell Hospital. Take on extra duties and responsibilities as delegated, and work within the scope of your professional practice, being aware of your own capability and limitations. Keep clear and accurate records, following NMC standards of documentation. What youâll bring: Registered General Nurse and NMC PIN required. Nursing experience in a Surgical ward. Pleasant and cheerful manner, being supportive and approachable. Contribute to a high-quality safe working environment in which patients receive a high standard of care. Ability to work well both in a team and to use your own initiative. Ability to maintain professional communication.
