Job Description: Cardiac Staff Nurse Cromwell Hospital, London SW5 0TU Full time- 37.5 hours per week (08:00am â 20:30hrs weekdays and weekend) Paying up to £43,730 per annum dependent on experience Role Overview: As a Cardiac Staff Nurse, youâll work as part of a close-knit team providing excellent patient focused care within the 33-bed medical ward which consists of both Neuro and Cardiac patients. As a Cardiac Staff Nurse, you will be a caring and compassionate nurse, delivering a high standard of care to our patients. We value all our people and will provide you support and a great place to work. What you'll do: Assess, plan, deliver and evaluate high standards of nursing care for patients. Participate in the delivery of a consistent, safe service in all aspects of the patient journey whilst demonstrating a culture of customer service. Act as a Link Nurse in a designated area reporting to and from meetings / training updates. Practice multidisciplinary team care and contribute actively towards its successful management. Recognise the needs for DOL assessments, mental capacity assessment and âsimpleâ and âcomplexâ safeguarding referrals and highlight any concerns. Have a working knowledge of emergency policies including cardiac arrest and fire. Deputise for the Senior Staff Nurse in their absence. Undertake clinical duties in any area that is reasonably requested ensuring that you practice within your professional competencies and abilities. Maintain positive working relationships with all Consultants, ensuring individual Consultant protocols are utilised. Ensure that supplies are adequate, and equipment is in working order. What youâll bring: Registered General Nurse and NMC PIN required. Nursing experience in a Cardiac Unit, ICU, or a Medical Ward within an acute hospital. Experience of working with cardiac patients; cardiac ablation, aortic stenosis, CABG, and heart failure. Competent with ECG, IV Administration of Drugs, CPAP, AIRVO and PICC lines. Essential with Phlebotomy and Cannulation. Pleasant and cheerful manner, being supportive and approachable. Why Bupa?
