Job title: Behaviour Consultant (Term Time Only Available) Job Description: Behaviour Consultant Staffordshire & Surrounding Counties £30,000 - £32,000 depending on experience Term time only is an option A fantastic opportunity for an experienced practitioner to join Entrusts Education Improvement Services Staffordshire based team. As a Behaviour Consultant, you will provide Special Educational Needs & Disabilities support, advice, and challenge to maintained schools and academies particularly in the area of SEMH. This role provides specialist advice to the schools and academies that we work with alongside working with students who need additional assessments and support. You will be working with a team of highly motivated and professional school improvement advisers and in your specialist area you will provide advice and guidance to schools and secure the highest levels of customer satisfaction. The role will be field based (across Staffordshire and potentially surrounding Counties) therefore you must have own transport. What you’ll be doing: Contributing to the growth of Entrust' s Education Improvement team alongside your Head of Service Preparing, delivering, and supporting training and consultancy across the SEND portfolio including pupil casework Actively contributing to Entrusts traded services. Researching and identifying potential new markets and opportunities Representing Entrust in a range of forums and partnership events, own and manage client relationship to nurture business opportunities What we’re looking for: Holds HLTA status with a particular interest in SEMH An excellent track record of providing student support and delivery of significant improvements in quality across educational establishments for SEMH and SEND. Specialist knowledge and experience in behaviour management and supporting pupils with social/emotional/mental health needs. Experience in delivering training School SENCo experience/support highly desirable but not essential Ability to undertake individual pupil assessments. An excellent knowledge of a school environment with evidence of working collaboratively with other agencies in these areas A flexible proactive approach with the ability to work independently and be intrinsically motivated Ability to establish and build positive working relationships at all levels Up to date knowledge of appropriate regulatory frameworks About Entrust Entrust is a joint venture between Capita and Staffordshire County Council.
