About the programme

As an Administration Apprentice, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring that the day-to-day operations of our business run efficiently and effectively.

On this 2-year apprenticeship, you'll provide support across various departments, developing skills like customer service, diary management, document control, training administration and event coordination.

Throughout your apprenticeship, you could be involved in projects like designing marketing materials for careers events or researching and collating information for internal use. You'll also collaborate on team projects to build your communication, problem-solving, and project management capabilities.

Your education/training

As part of your apprenticeship, you will receive training at West College Scotland. You will study towards an SVQ in Business and Administration at SCQF Level 6.

You’ll learn how to manage workloads, communicate and plan effectively, and improve your performance in a business environment.

Future prospects

Upon completion of the programme, you can expect to earn a competitive salary exceeding £25,000.

You may also have the opportunity to undertake higher-level qualifications to further your career within Babcock across a variety of roles and functions.

What you’ll need
