Business Associate, Markets Operations Chief of Staff

The Business Associate is an intermediate level position within the Markets Operations Chief of Staff team, aligning to Markets COO. You would be joining a growing team, with the opportunity to work on a broad remit of strategic people-aligned priorities for Markets Operations and to support the broader Chief of Staff organisation.

The successful candidate will be proactive, driven, highly organised and able to work across multiple competing priorities efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Learning Strategy and Design Support

Coordinate with HR Learning and Development partners and the Chief of Staff team to design learning interventions.

Assisting in researching and analysing data, working with HR to identify skills gaps and capability needs across Markets Operations

Support the preparation of materials, and provide logistical support for Markets Operations events/initiatives

Aid in the preparation and support facilitation of Markets operations events

Collaborate with leaders in Markets to align existing Markets offerings to Markets Operations strategic priorities

Measurement and Continuous Improvement

Assist in tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) and collecting data to assess effectiveness of Markets Operations initiatives

Conduct research on industry best practices and learning approaches for integration into the function

Business Administration

Other ad-hoc Business Management tasks that support the activities of Markets Operations, including Powerpoint presentations and Excel analysis

Develop a detailed understanding of the Markets Operations business, our processes and priorities, and how it aligns to Markets and Citi goals

Driving the adoption of AI within Markets Operations, through supporting our OptiMarket initiative

Qualifications:

Relevant experience in financial or professional services

Excellent communication skills (written / verbal) and ability to interact and build relationships with various stakeholders

Confident organisational skills, managing multiple tasks and prioritizing for quick turnaround

Attention to detail

Confidence in public speaking, particularly on new or recently learned subjects

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including expertise in PowerPoint

Ability to work collaboratively as part of a global team

A proactive mindset, a willingness to learn and take initiative

An understanding of the financial services industry, or Markets Operations

Knowledge of Learning Management Systems (LMS) or digital learning tools is beneficial

Education:

Bachelors Degree/University degree or equivalent experience
