We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as Business Development Executive, this full-time and permanent position is based in UK and offers regional coverage, allowing you to make a significant impact to our Corporates Department and it’s growth.
Purpose of Role
The Business Development Executive is responsible for identifying and building strong relationships with new business opportunities. The ideal candidate will be highly proactive, goal-oriented, and skilled at identifying and pursuing new opportunities, building a pipeline, and driving sales. You will be responsible for generating leads, qualifying prospects, and securing new clients within the corporate services sector.
Scope
Responsible for UK and Ireland Corporate Sales
Key Responsibilities
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the corporate services sector across the UK and Ireland to expand Vistra’s customer base and capture market share Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals that address the specific needs of prospective clients. Develop a deep understanding of customer needs and proactively apply product and market knowledge to sell insightful, innovative solutions Meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs for new business acquisition, contributing to company revenue growth. Leverage Subject Matter Experts to provide the technical expertise & knowledge to sell insightful, innovative solutions during the time of sale Collaborate with Account Management team to negotiate and close new business, ensuring smooth account transitions after the initial sale Coordinate with Onboarding team to guarantee effortless handoffs and white glove service is provided once the initial deal is closed/won
Attributes/Technical Skills
A self-starter with a strong sales skillset An entrepreneurial and solution minded individual Proven experience and success in a similar sales/business development role Strong team player with ability to also act alone Excellent written and verbal communication skills Excellent time management skills; ability to prioritise Proactive, self-motivated leader with ambition, energy and drive
Relevant Experience
Experience in a business development, sales, or a related role, with a strong focus on new business acquisition, in a corporate services company. Demonstrated success in cold calling, lead generation, and generating new business opportunities. Ability to quickly identify potential clients, generate interest, and convert leads into new business. Understanding of tax/payroll/HR/accounting solutions is preferrable but not essential.
Education and Professional Qualification
Desirable – accounting, legal or company secretarial qualification
