SMBF - Production Management (also known as SMBF Technology Production Support) is an organisation with more than 5,000 employees and contract workers. The Business Execution team is responsible for the groups ongoing planning, administrative and organisational development activities. These include management of the Financials, Headcount, Real Estate and Vendor Management Planning Processes, as well as providing ongoing support to the Production Management Leadership Team.
We are looking for an experienced candidate to join the Production Management Business Execution team to manage the Finance area within our team, as well as being a key Business Execution team resource working on additional projects. This is a global role reporting to the Business Office Lead.
Responsibilities:
Working with cross functional teams including finance teams to review and finalise quarterly outlook cycles, transfers, functionals and the annual budget processDevelop financial projections based on risks and opportunitiesReview and manage the month end close and provide variance analysis commentary for senior management reviewsDevelop standardization across financial processes used across multiple verticals by understanding key business drivers and driving efficienciesEnsure compliance with financial guidelines, company policies and relevant legal regulationsDetail oriented, curious by nature, and strategic thinker that can prioritize and multi-task between the several budget prioritiesAttention to detail, strong organisational skills and a curious natureAbility to think independently, evaluate, negotiate, and structure updates suitable for senior management across a wide variety of topics associated with organisational initiativesAdaptable and enjoy working in a fast paced environmentQualifications:
Experience in global and complex settings with multiple stakeholdersManagement experience, preferably in a financial services roleKnowledge of the financial services industry and technologyDemonstrated ability to manage a teamProven ability to work in high-pressure environmentsConsistently demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication------------------------------------------------------
