JOB PURPOSE This Business Group & European Lead CDIO serves as a strategic digital partner, delivering value to the Business Group through comprehensive Digitization and Digtial & Tech Service delivery. This role serves as the Business Group lead, and also lead for the relevant European Business Unit. Further, the role is the senior most lead of the European business unit CDIO teams and is accountable for business continuity overall as well as regional capabilities that cut across BG led countries. Empowered with decision rights, the role actively promotes cross-domain product collaboration and leverages Power of One initiatives, but also supports differentiation when it is required to meet the BG strategy. The Business Group & European Lead CDIO proposes, approves, and oversees end-to-end digitization strategy to the BG, aligns with BG leadership on OKRs and value realization. Additionally, the role focuses on product adoption, represents BG strategies into Global Digital & Tech, ensures efficient budget management and talent development within the BG engagement team. Further, the role is accountable for representing all European regional priorities across BG-led markets, ensuring strong business continuity across all BG-led markets in Europe, and has a âbuck stops hereâ approach to issues that may arise in Europe. RESPONSIBILITIES Partner to BG LT: Trusted partner of BG LT Creates value through Digitization & Service delivery to BGs Accountable for success/failure of Global Digital & Tech for the BG and fully empowered on decision rights accordingly Participates in the BG CDIO forum with Product Domain & Families to enable cross BG Power of One initiatives and learnings. Strategy and planning Creates the digitization strategy E2E and agrees OKRs with BG President and BG LT members Oversight of product roadmaps and value realization management Prioritizes the backlog and new projects with Product Domains / Families Leads Supports the product adoption & change management into the BG / BU Represents BG strategies into Global Digital & Tech, and is the final voice of the Blueprint for that Business Group Identifies white space opportunities and collaborates with Products to create/deploy Tech & D&A capabilities. Ensuring the right BU resources engage with Product teams Value realization Global Digital & Tech budget management & Cost Transparency for BG (across BU) Prioritisation lead on behalf of the business group and relevant business unit Represent E2E Value Capture from Global Digital & Tech landing in the BG Accountable for business deployment and change management into the business group, business unit and focus countries Business Continuity Lead for business continuity for all focus countries mapped to the Business group and the overall lead for Europe (BG led markets) Business Analytics Team Lead Business Analytics across BG and in the relevant European BU to ensure targeted and real-time intelligence for data driven decision making Talent Development Talent management of the BG CDIO organization Participate in relevant Global Digital & Tech Talent Forums ALL ABOUT YOU Experience Deep experience in managing and overseeing a complex and diverse organisation-wide agenda, ideally having partnered CD, Marketing and Supply Chain Deep experience of working at a country / market operation level as well as leading regional or global teams Experience in leading a strategic Tech and Data agenda in line with business objectives. Experience of managing the paradox of leveraging global scale and driving global strategies whilst responding to individual business needs. The ability to translate technical opportunities into business outcomes (and vice versa). Experience in collaborating on global programmes and translating them into successful market executions. A strong network within the company with ability to build strong and robust partnerships. Proven track record of leading and building skilled talent and teams.
