Are you a seasoned analytical professional with a passion for data governance and a keen understanding of financial markets? This Business Lead Analyst role within the Markets FO CDE Triage team presents a compelling opportunity to significantly influence how critical data elements are managed, ensuring compliance with evolving regulatory interpretations and robust model governance.

This position offers a unique vantage point within the Counterparty Trading & Risk (CTR) organization, specifically supporting the Markets Capital Advancement team and the XVA trading desk. You will be instrumental in facilitating business objectives and optimizing capital management by ensuring Front Office (FO) Critical Data Elements (CDEs) adhere to enterprise-wide data policies.

Advantages for Your Career Path:

  • Strategic Impact: Play a pivotal role in managing the entire lifecycle of FO CDE changes, from review and prioritization to approval. Your contributions will directly impact regulatory compliance and sound financial decision-making.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Engage with a diverse range of stakeholders, including Business, Quant, Finance, and Technology teams. This role fosters exceptional communication and leadership skills as you lead working groups to tackle complex challenges.
  • Data Governance Expertise: Deepen your understanding and practical application of data governance principles within a high-stakes financial environment. You'll be at the forefront of maintaining operating models and procedures in line with industry best practices.
  • Exposure to Capital Markets: Gain invaluable insights into the intricacies of capital initiatives and the pricing and risk management of derivatives trades, particularly from the perspective of credit, funding, and capital.
  • Process Improvement: Drive enhancements to underlying datasets by partnering with MQA and IT. You will also be involved in comparing FO versions with official capital calculations, contributing to strategic system evolution.

Key Considerations for Candidates:

  • Analytical Acumen: A strong foundation in analytical and mathematical skills is paramount. You'll be expected to delve into large datasets, identify complex data quality issues, and perform detailed analysis.
  • Communication Prowess: Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential. The ability to clearly articulate findings, engage stakeholders, and persuade through data and presentations will be a key differentiator.
  • Adaptability and Learning Agility: The financial markets landscape is dynamic. Candidates should demonstrate an eagerness to quickly grasp new, complex concepts, ask insightful questions, and proactively seek solutions.
  • Technical Aptitude: While not strictly a coding role, understanding the technical implications of calculations and system design will be beneficial. Experience with SQL and Tableau is highly desirable, as it will enhance your ability to analyze and visualize data.
  • Project Management Fundamentals: Strong project management skills are necessary to effectively manage the review, prioritization, and approval processes, as well as coordinate activities and track deliverables.
  • Attention to Detail: Given the critical nature of the data and the regulatory environment, meticulous attention to detail is non-negotiable.

This full-time position, categorized within the Business Strategy, Management & Administration job family, offers a rewarding career path for individuals seeking to make a tangible impact in the financial services sector. If you thrive in a challenging, collaborative, and data-driven environment, this role provides an excellent platform for growth and development.
