The role As a Business Analyst, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You’ll join a newly formed service category with the aim of Planning and Asset Management is to generate insights for decision support to improve and maintain equipment availability for the British Army.
Day-to-day, you’ll deliver key information and actionable insights from enterprise level data to support team strategy and objectives. You'll also:
Collect, clean, and analyse large volumes of data from multiple sources, ensuring where possible end to end integration, including internal and external sources Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies Conduct quantitative and qualitative research Use a variety of analytical techniques, included statistical, and machine learning Create reports and/or visualisations to explain trends and insights
This role is full time, 37 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with days in the office/onsite and days working from home.
Essential experience of the Business Analyst:
Advanced analytical skills Experience with quantitative data management and analysis Experience of UX/UI frameworks Experience with Reporting Software, Power BI, Qlikview, SSRS (including Excel) SQL experience
Qualifications for the Business Analyst:
A strong degree in relevant subject e.g. computer science, maths etc. or equivalent years of work experience preferred
