CAD Team Leader
Salary: £35,000 - £42,000 per annum
Working Hours: Permanent, Full Time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday between 8:00am and 4:30pm

G4S Facilities Management are recruiting a CAD (Computer Aided Design) (Computer Aided Facility Management) Team Leader on a full-time, permanent basis based in Cheltenham.
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual with excellent planning, organisational, and communication skills to manage and oversee the CAD Team together with CAD duties including amend, update, create, modify, design and manage mechanical, electrical, engineering and floorplan drawings using AutoCAD software.
Team Leader responsibilities include:
Manage and oversee the work and workload of CAD Operatives. Train CAD Operatives in all aspects of site CAD use and drawing activity. To provide configuration control of the Mechanical, Electrical and Public Health drawings To manage and control the record drawing Access database for all building services and structure To format drawings capable of being put on intranet for the Client to view only To amend existing drawings and produce new M & E design drawings for variation proposals across the range of Electric, Mechanical and Public Health services as well as modifications to the building structure, partitions and ceilings. To update drawings in accordance with the Service Level Agreement requirements i.e. within 15 working days of the completion of the work To carry out site surveys of the building services and record any changes from base plans To provide Site Drawings on request to the Contact Management Team To identify the exact customer requirements for drawings and agree target dates To comply with health and safety and emergency proceduresEssential:
Minimum of HNC in a related engineering Significant experience of Auto-Cad, Architectural desktop Microstation systems. Strong verbal and written communication abilities, with a focus on customer satisfaction Competent in using various IT platforms and applications Able to work on own initiative Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage workload effectively under pressure.
