Job Summary
We have an exciting opportunity for a permanent,full-time Cash Allocation Clerk to join our Accounts Receivable teamat our Regional Office in Worksop. The role is 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 08.30 to 17.00. The successful applicant would be responsible for ensuring that all G4S customer payments are allocated in an accurate and timely manner, as well as reconciling customer accounts.

Main responsibilities
Reconcile a high volume of customer payments and ensure accurate and timely allocationReview & investigation of unallocated cashProcess refunds on customer credit balances in line with G4S proceduresMake adjustments to the receivables ledger where requiredProcess customer credit/debit card paymentsAction any inbound email queriesAssist with any audit requirementsEnsure that month end tasks are completed within agreed timescalesLook for process improvement opportunities for FSSC service deliveryWork to a daily team target set by the team leaderAny other Ad hoc tasks as requiredThe ideal candidate
Key Competencies:
A good understanding of the accounts receivable processAn understanding of SAP, Oracle and/or other Finance systemsYou must live within reasonable commuting distance of Worksop S81 7QFEssential:
Strong skills in MS ExcelNumerate and LiterateDesirable:
Experience in working with customers to resolve queries and issuesExperience working in a busy Finance environmentThe successful candidate will be required to provide original documentation for detailed screening and vettingprocesses. These documents may include your passport, drivers license, utility bill (dated in the last 3 months),HMRC letter, original bank statements, an original payslip, your birth certificate, or a valid share code.
